Mometasone furoate
Indications/Uses
Symptomatic treatment of seasonal or perennial rhinitis in adults, adolescents & children 3-11 yr. Nasal polyps in patients β₯18 yr. Symptomatic treatment of acute rhinosinusitis in patients β₯12 yr w/o signs or symptoms of severe bacterial infection.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Seasonal allergic or perennial rhinitisΒ Adult, elderly & adolescentΒ 2 sprays in each nostril once daily, may be increased to max: 4 sprays in each nostril once daily.Β Children 3-11 yrΒ 1 spray in each nostril once daily. Total daily dose: 100 mcg.Β Nasal polyposisΒ 2 sprays in each nostril bd, may be reduced to 2 sprays in each nostril once daily.Β Acute rhinosinusitisΒ 2 sprays in each nostril bd.
