Mometasone furoate
Indications/Uses
Symptomatic treatment of seasonal or perennial rhinitis in adults, adolescents & children 3-11 yr. Nasal polyps in patients ≥18 yr. Symptomatic treatment of acute rhinosinusitis in patients ≥12 yr w/o signs or symptoms of severe bacterial infection.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Seasonal allergic or perennial rhinitis Adult, elderly & adolescent 2 sprays in each nostril once daily, may be increased to max: 4 sprays in each nostril once daily. Children 3-11 yr 1 spray in each nostril once daily. Total daily dose: 100 mcg. Nasal polyposis 2 sprays in each nostril bd, may be reduced to 2 sprays in each nostril once daily. Acute rhinosinusitis 2 sprays in each nostril bd.
