Alzithromycin
Indications/Uses
Azithromycin is usedΒ to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. It is a macrolide-type antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This medication will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu).
Dosage/Direction for Use
Shake the suspension well before using. Carefully measure the dose using a special measuring device/spoon. Do not use a household spoon because you may not get the correct dose. If your child vomits the 1-day treatment dose within 30 minutes, call your doctor to see if you need to repeat the dose.
