Pontacid Forte 500mg Tablet (10’s)

Adult: 500 mg tid. Alternatively, initiate at 500 mg, followed by 250 mg 6 hourly as necessary, usually not more than 1 week. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration.
Child: As oral susp: >6 months to <2 years 25 mg/kg daily in divided doses or 50 mg 1-3 times daily; 2-<5 years 100 mg 1-3 times daily; 5-<9 years 150 mg 1-3 times daily; 9-<12 years 200 mg 1-3 times daily. As tab or cap: ≥12 years Same as adult dose. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration. Max treatment duration: 7 days (except in the treatment of systemic onset juvenile chronic arthritis). Elderly: Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration.
