Neomycin
Indications/Uses
Neomycin, an antibiotic, is used to prevent or treat skin infections caused by bacteria. It is not effective against fungal or viral infections. This medication is sometimes prescribed for other uses; ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply a thin layer of neomycin cream to the affected area, covering the entire area of the skin that is affected by the infection. Gently rub the cream into the skin until it is completely absorbed. Wash your hands again after applying the cream, unless your hands are part of the treated area.
