Per FC tab Amoxycillin trihydrate 500 mg, K clavulanate 125 mg. Per 5 mL oral susp Amoxycillin trihydrate 200 mg, K clavulanate 28.5 mg
Indications/Uses
Upper & lower resp tract, skin & soft tissue, GUT, bone & joint infections.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Tab Adult & children >12 yr Mild to moderate infection 625 mg bd. Severe infection 1 g bd. Oral susp Children 25 mg/kg daily in divided doses 8 hrly, 1-6 yr (10-18 kg) 5 mL tds, <1 yr 25 mg/kg daily, may be increased up to 50 mg/kg daily in divided doses 8 hrly.
