Indications/Uses
Upper & lower resp tract, skin & soft tissue, GUT, bone & joint infections.
Dosage/Direction for Use
TabΒ Adult & children >12 yrΒ Mild to moderate infectionΒ 625 mg bd.Β Severe infectionΒ 1 g bd.Β Oral suspΒ ChildrenΒ 25 mg/kg daily in divided doses 8 hrly,Β 1-6 yr (10-18 kg)Β 5 mL tds,Β <1 yrΒ 25 mg/kg daily, may be increased up to 50 mg/kg daily in divided doses 8 hrly.
