Indications and Dosage
Inhalation/Respiratory
Acute bronchospasm
Acute bronchospasm
Adult:Β Treatment and prevention in patient with reversible obstructive airway disease: As metered-dose aerosol or dry powder inhaler (90 or 100 mcg/actuation): 1 or 2 inhalations every 4-6 hours. Max: 800 mcg daily.
Child:Β As metered-dose aerosol or dry powder inhaler:Β 4-11 yearsΒ 1 or 2 inhalations;Β β₯12 yearsΒ Same as adult dose.
Child:Β As metered-dose aerosol or dry powder inhaler:Β 4-11 yearsΒ 1 or 2 inhalations;Β β₯12 yearsΒ Same as adult dose.

Prophylaxis of exercise-induced bronchospasm
Adult:Β As metered-dose aerosol or dry powder inhaler (90 or 100 mcg/actuation): 2 inhalations 15-30 minutes prior to exercise.
Child:Β As metered-dose aerosol or dry powder inhaler (90 or 100 mcg/actuation):Β 4-11 yearsΒ 1 or 2 inhalations 15-30 minutes prior to exercise;Β β₯12 yearsΒ Same as adult dose.
